The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is set to review a proposal for façade restoration work at 119 Saint Felix Street, a two-unit townhouse in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The application was prepared by Urban Pioneering Architecture and focuses on replacing existing front façade windows throughout the building. The property is located between Lafayette Avenue and Hanson Place.

The scope includes replacing basement, first-, second-, and third-floor windows with new black aluminum-clad double-hung units. Plans call for two-over-two windows at the basement and third floor and four-over-four windows at the first and second floors, while retaining the building’s existing masonry openings, arches, headers, and sills.

Drawings included in the proposal show the installation of new aluminum-clad sash and frames, insulated triple-pane glazing, brick mold trim, and matching half screens. Historic photographs included in the filing document the townhouse’s earlier appearance dating back to 1916, 1940, and the 1978 LPC designation survey.

Transit nearby the property includes the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center transit hub, served by the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Additional nearby service includes the G train at Fulton Street and the C train at Lafayette Avenue.
