Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 395 Louisiana Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Vandalia Avenue and Flatlands Avenue, the lot is near the East 105th Street subway station, served by the L train. David Picket of IUV Building 7 LIHTC Owner LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 114-foot-tall development will yield 1,307,730 square feet, with 1,158,650 square feet designated for residential space, 113,353 square feet for community facility space, and 35,727 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 169 residences with a total 1,438 residences on the lot, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 805 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, 388 open parking spaces, and 184 enclosed parking spaces.
SLCE Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
