Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 31-08 31st Avenue in Astoria, Queens. Located between 31st Street and 32nd Street, the lot is near the 30th Avenue subway station, served by the N and W trains. Zengwen Ye of Arch 31 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 95-foot-tall development will yield 37,694 square feet, with 35,864 square feet designated for residential space, 1,441 square feet for commercial space, and 389 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 48 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 747 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
Chang Tan of Tan Architect P.C is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits filed for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
