Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 27-11 30th Avenue in Astoria, Queens. Located between 27th Street and 29th Street, the lot is near the 30th Avenue subway station, served by the N and W trains. Nicholas Notias of Neptune Mechanical, Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 95-foot-tall development will yield 20,266 square feet, with 18,105 square feet designated for residential space, 1,472 square feet of community facility space, and 689 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 26 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 696 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 31-foot-long rear yard, and five open parking spaces.
Harriet Nikakis of HCN Design is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
