Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 72-50 Burchell Avenue in Arverne, Queens. Located between Beach 72nd Street and Barbadoes Drive, the lot is closest to the Beach 67th Street subway station, served by the A train. Avrohom Goldberg of AY Consulting Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 16,627 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 25 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 665 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 20-foot-long rear yard.
Boris Balkhiyev of Envision Engineering Services, PLLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed this month for a two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
