The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) has formally announced its development partners who will help complete a major rehabilitation project at Edenwald Houses, one of the oldest and largest public housing developments in the agency’s portfolio. The portfolio comprises 40 residential buildings spread across 48 acres in the Edenwald section of The Bronx.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 140 West Fordham Road, a seven-story residential building in University Heights, The Bronx. Designed by Marin Architects and developed by Stagg Group, the structure yields 54 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 18 units for residents at 120 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $56,572 to $154,680.
Permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 1824 Anthony Avenue in Tremont, The Bronx. Located between East 175th Street and East 176th Street, the lot is closest to the Tremont Avenue subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Bimi Selimaj of Propco LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 1268 Shakespeare Avenue in Highbridge, The Bronx. Located between Jerome Avenue and West 169th Street, the lot is near the 170th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Zev Mayer of Skyrock NYC Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 980 Westchester Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Foxhurst, The Bronx. Designed by GF55 Partners and developed by The Doe Fund and Bolivar Development, the structure yields 150 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 119 units for residents at 30 to 70 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $14,915 to $103,600.
