A new affordable housing project for seniors is now open at 11 Park Drive in Wyandanch Village, a 40-acre master-planned community in Suffolk County, Long Island. Developed in partnership by Albanese Development Corporation and Selfhelp Realty Group, the five-story building features 64 apartments for seniors 62 years and older, all designated for households earning at or below 70 percent area median income (AMI).

Improvements to a 1.7-mile stretch of State Route 112 in Suffolk County, Long Island are now complete. The $32.7 million project spans from Medford to Coram and includes wider travel lanes, new turning lanes at key intersections, pull-off areas for buses, new drains for stormwater runoff, and a landscaped median. Additional improvements include dedicated bike lanes in both directions, new sidewalks, curb ramps, reflective pavement markings, and crossing signals to enhance safety for pedestrians.

The Hudson Companies Partners with Pension Funds to Create Workforce Housing Across NYC

The Hudson Companies has partnered with two of New York City’s largest municipal pension funds to build new work force housing in the five boroughs and Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Putnam, Orange, and Rockland counties.
