Permits Granted For Four-Story, Eight-Unit Residential Project At 1415 67th Street, Bensonhurst

Lower East Side-based Andy Mak has been granted permits to build a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 1415 67th Street, in northern Bensonhurst, located roughly five blocks from subway stops on either the D or N trains. The building will measure a total of 7,405 square feet, which works out to units averaging a family-sized 925 square feet apiece. Wu Chen’s Elmhurst-based Infocus Design & Planning is the applicant of record. The site consists of three tax lots, and a two-story townhouse and an adjacent structure must be demolished. Initially, applications filed back in 2014 called for a smaller building with nine units, but that was never approved.


2125 72nd Street

Property owner Kenneth Wong has filed applications for a four-story, two-unit residential building at 2125 72nd Street, in Bensonhurst, located 10 blocks south of the 20th Avenue stop on the N train. The structure will measure 4,050 square feet in total, and the family-sized units will average a very spacious 2,025 square feet apiece, spanning across two full floors. Anthony Lee’s Lower Manhattan-based AJR Architecture is the applicant of record. A very recessed, single-family home must first be demolished.

Property owner Anna Cheung has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential building at 8154 Bay 16th Street, in Bensonhurst, two blocks from the D train’s stop at 18th Avenue. It will measure 5,151 square feet in total, which means units will average 858 square feet apiece. Harry Hong’s H2 Consulting is the applicant of record, and an existing two-story house must first be demolished.


2105 82nd Avenue

Four-Story, 16,500 Square-Foot Religious Facility Coming To 2105 82nd Avenue, Bensonhurst

Abdul Wahid has filed applications for a four-story, 16,563 square-foot religiously affiliated community building at 2105 82nd Street, in southern Bensonhurst, five blocks from the D train’s stop at 20th Avenue. The bottom floor will have the building’s lobby and area of worship, the second and third floors will be fitted for medical offices and classrooms, and the top floor will house the living quarters for three care takers. Long Island-based Willy Zambrano is the architect of record, and demolition permits were filed for two houses earlier this year.


1430 West 4th Street

Six-Story, 10-Unit Mixed-Use Building Coming To 1430 West 4th Street, Bensonhurst

Property owner Jenny Wu has filed applications for a six-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 1430 West 4th Street, in eastern Bensonhurst, four blocks from the N train’s Bay Parkway stop. The building will measure 11,139 square feet in total, and will feature 2,394 square feet of health care facilities on the basement level. On the five floors above, residential units will average 875 square feet apiece. Zhen Yu Ye’s Bay Ridge-based Ye Development Inc. is the applicant of record. The site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in 2005.
