The apartments will occupy an assemblage of land at the intersection of Christopher Avenue and Glenmore Avenue, and Think! Architecture + Design is the project architect.

Our last reporting on 845 Howard Avenue was after the NYC Department of City Planning gave approval to the Robert A.M. Stern Architects’ design in October. Now, permits have been filed for the site, which also goes by 3 Livonia Avenue, in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The project will be named Edwin’s Place, and will be the fifth project in Brooklyn by the non-profit partnership of Breaking Ground and The African American Planning Commission Inc.

Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 1663 East New York Avenue, in Brownsville, Brooklyn. The project would replace an undeveloped lot used for glass and car repairs. The Broadway Junction Subway Stations are seven blocks away, serviced by the A, C, J, L, M, and Z trains. The East New York Train Station is four blocks away, serviced by the Long Island Railroad. Like Minded People LLC, based in Forest Hills, Queens, is responsible for development.
