Updated Renderings Revealed for 56 Park Place in Newark, New Jersey

New renderings have been revealed for 56 Park Place, a proposed 27-story residential building in Newark, New Jersey. Designed by MVMK Architecture and developed by the 56 Park Place LLC, the structure is planned to stand 285 feet tall. In addition to residential space, the project is planned to contain a ground-floor restaurant, a parking garage, and amenities on the third story and roof level. The property comprises two narrow interior lots between East Park Street and Center Street.

Haffen Park Pool Complex Renovations Begin in Baychester, The Bronx

NYC Parks has begun a $13.4 million reconstruction of the Haffen Park Pool Complex at 1810 Burke Avenue in Baychester, The Bronx. Funded by the NYC Mayor’s Office and a DASNY grant through the NY SWIMS initiative, the project will overhaul the public pool complex with upgraded infrastructure, rebuilt bathhouse facilities, and ADA-accessible public spaces. Haffen Park is bounded by Burke Avenue to the north, Hammersley Avenue to the south, Ely Avenue to the east, and Gunther Avenue to the west.

Developers Land Financing for ‘The 360’ at 350 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, The Bronx

Developers have secured $130 million in construction financing for The 360, a planned 13-story residential building at 350 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed in a joint venture between Shorewood Real Estate Group and Bogopa Enterprises, the 320,000-square-foot structure will yield 304 rental units. The project will also contain community facility space and 47,892 square feet of ground-floor retail that is pre-leased to Food Bazaar. Seventy-six of the residential units will be dedicated to affordable housing for households earning up to 60 percent of the area median income. The property is located between East 140th and 144th Streets.
