Oxford Nursing Home is planning to build a 138,000 square-foot, 200-bed nursing home at 141 Conover Street, in Red Hook, as well as a 37,000 square-foot health care facility. The development requires a trek through the ULURP process, because the block must be rezoned for residential purposes, according to DNAinfo. Construction is expected to begin in late 2016 or early 2016, pending proper approvals, and multiple low-rise structures must first be demolished.

Four-Story, Single-Family Townhouses With Art Galleries Filed At 432 Van Brunt Street, Red Hook

Marlboro Builders has filed applications for three four-story, single-family townhouses spanning the vacant lots 430-434 Van Brunt Street, in Red Hook. The buildings will be spread across 8,535 square feet, and situated on the first floor of each building will be an art gallery. Between the three buildings, the total space for said community facility will measure 1,222 square feet; Eric Safyan is designing.

Renderings Revealed For 19-Unit Rental Project At 265 Van Brunt Street, Red Hook

YIMBY brought you news of applications filed for a three-story, 19-unit residential building at 265 Van Brunt Street, in Red Hook, in March of 2014, and now Brownstoner has spotted the first renderings posted on site. Designed by OCV Architects, the building will actually be raised due to flooding concerns, and will appear as a four-story structure. The rental project is being developed by Cheever Development, and the site’s single-story predecessors have been demolished.
