Designed by Node Architecture, Engineering, Consulting PC and developed by Joseph Rukaj under the Plungeri LLC, the structure yields 25 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $75,429 to $140,000.

LPC To Review Renovation Proposal For 2060 Sedgwick Avenue In University Heights, The Bronx

The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is reviewing a proposal for restoration work on the Hall of Fame for Great Americans, located at 2060 Sedgwick Avenue on the Bronx Community College campus in University Heights, The Bronx. Originally constructed in 1901 by the architectural firm McKim, Mead & White, the structure is an Individual Landmark and a notable example of early 20th-century academic architecture. The restoration project is led by architect Michael Stripunsky, along with Bernard Toni and Amanda Loy, and is part of a broader initiative by the City University of New York (CUNY) to address structural issues affecting the building.

Fordham Landing South Receives $55 Million Grant In University Heights, The Bronx

Empire State Development has invested $55 million to support the advancement of Fordham Landing South, a two-building affordable housing development in University Heights, The Bronx. The funding will enable infrastructure improvements and site preparation to support the mixed-use complex, which will rise along the Harlem River waterfront on an underused stretch of land just south of the University Heights Bridge.
