Midtown West’s resurrection into a legitimately urban neighborhood has taken nearly a decade to get fully underway, but as the cranes continue creeping upwards for Related’s Hudson Yards mega-project, it is easy to forget the supertall rising one block to the east. Today, YIMBY has an update on Manhattan West thanks to Tectonic, where the site’s first office tower continues to make rapid headway towards its 995-foot pinnacle.
Last October, YIMBY reported on new building applications for a small site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at 115 Broadway. Despite its size, the narrow lot is bound by South 6th Street and Bedford Avenue, making it very visually prominent, and today we have the reveal for its eventual occupant, which will certainly be eye-catching.

Today, YIMBY has the first renderings of another project coming to the neighborhood, at 135-01 35th Avenue, where Stenmax Realty Inc. is planning an eight-story mixed-use building.
