Gotham, a licensed cannabis dispensary and concept store based in New York City, recently announced plans to open a new location at The Refinery at Domino, a mixed-use property located at 300 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The new location will occupy 4,000 square feet and is set to open this fall.
Work is progressing on the expansion of Bushwick Inlet Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Abel Bainnson Butz, LLP and developed by the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation and the non-profit group Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park, the $9.8 million project involves the transformation of a two-acre parcel known as Motiva at the northernmost end of the waterfront park. Construction broke ground in March on the property, which had formerly sat unutilized and overgrown, and environmental remediation efforts are being undertaken in parallel with the park’s construction. The park is being created as part of the nearly 40-acre Greenpoint-Williamsburg Open Space Master Plan and is bound by Quay Street to the north and Franklin Street to the east.
Permits have been filed to expand a one-story structure into a four-story residential building at 193 Withers Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Graham Avenue and Humboldt Street, the lot is near the Graham Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Mendel Fleischman of Berkowits Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
EOS Hospitality has assumed management of The William Vale Hotel, a 23-story hotel at 111 North 12th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The 183-key property opened in 2016 and features 7,300 square feet of indoor event space, including a 4,100-square-foot ballroom. The William Vale is EOS’s first property in the New York City market.
