Demolition is about to get underway on six abutting structures along Gramercy Park to make way for a new 20-story residential building addressed as 38 Gramercy Park East in Gramercy, Manhattan. Designed by Roman & Williams and developed by Legion Investment Group and Gindi Capital, the building will yield 57 condominium units. The project will also become the largest building of its kind constructed in a century in the area surrounding the nearly 2-acre private park. SLCE Architects as the architect of record for the property, which is bound by Gramercy Park East, East 21st Street, and Third Avenue.

Gotham Organization, in partnership with Monadnock Development, the Christian Cultural Center (CCC), and Reverend A.R. Bernard, has secured approximately $314 million in construction financing to launch Phase 1B of the Innovative Urban Village (IUV) in East New York, Brooklyn. The financing package was arranged with support from the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). Designed by Practice for Architecture and Urbanism (PAU), the 10.5-acre site is being transformed into a mixed-use affordable housing development.

Exterior work is nearing completion on 200 East 75th Street, an 18-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and developed by EJS Group, the 214-foot-tall structure will span 97,569 square feet and yield 36 condominium units in two- to six-bedroom layouts. The development will also contain ground-floor retail space. The property is alternately addressed as 1305-1307 Third Avenue and located at the intersection of Third Avenue and East 75th Street.
