Premier Equities and Thor Equities are partnering to develop a 31-story, 100,000-square-foot residential tower at 1297-1299 Third Avenue, located between East 74th and 75th streets on the Upper East Side.
The number of units in the tower has not been decided, but they will be condominiums, Commercial Observer reported. The five-story tenement buildings at 1291-1295 Third Avenue, which together contain 37 apartments, will also be redeveloped into a single mixed-use building with condominiums and 23,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
Neither new building applications nor demolition permits have been filed for 1297-1299 Third Avenue, which will be near the 72nd Street stop on the Q train and the 77th Street stop on the 6 train.
