Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 532 Clinton Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The site is near the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center commercial intersection, as well as the Brooklyn Museum. The Clinton-Washington Avenues Station, serviced by the A and C trains, is also a block away. Afshari PC will be responsible for the design.

The 80-foot tall structure will yield 27,120 square feet for residential use. The project would replace a detached three-story residential building. The new structure will create 16 living units, averaging 1,695 square feet apiece.

Tenants will have access to a rooftop recreation space, and storage for ten bicycles. Six accessory parking spaces will also be made available on-site.

An anonymous business will be responsible for development.

Demolition permits have not been filed and an estimated completion date has not been announced.

Your details very quiet no sound so I have to read it only.

  2. “The site is near the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center commercial intersection, as well as the Brooklyn Museum. Brooklyn Museum is on Eastern Parkway at Washington Ave. Please learn the neighborhoods within you report.

  3. Isn’t this within an historic district? How is demolition of an obviously intact Victorian contributing building to the Clinton Hill historic district even considered for demolition?
