Today YIMBY has another exclusive new look at the imminently-opening 29-22 Northern Boulevard, officially dubbed ALTA LIC, in Long Island City, Queens. The 43-story building stands across the street from Dutch Kills Green Park, a small, pleasant public park that is rising in relevance. The Queens Plaza subway station is just one block away, and the Queensboro Plaza station is four blocks further, giving future tenants access to the E, M, N, R, W, and 7 trains.
The project is being developed by Simon Baron Development and Quadrum Global. Besides the new renderings, ALTA LIC new website has also officially launched.
The building is designed by the Stephen B. Jacobs Group, with amenities design by Andre Kikoski. The building features oversized rental units ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom units, as well as co-living micro suites.
The amenities include a second-floor coworking lounge with a game hall and event space, dubbed the ALTA+ Cube. The ALTA+ Lounge settled on the 43rd floor, will have an indoor pool, fitness center, yoga studio, and golf simulator lounge.
Leasing will start in early April, with prices starting at $2,375 for a studio, and two bedroom units starting at $4,025 per month. Prices for the three-bedroom units have not yet been announced. Apartments will include stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit washer and dryers.
The co-living units will occupy thirteen floors, created and managed by Ollie. This will include all-inclusive hotel-style service. This service, dubbed ALTA by Ollie, will include two-bedroom micro suites priced at a net $3,224 per month, with co-living rents starting from $1,376 per month
Full completion of the building is expected by the end of the year.
