The recently completed office-to-residential conversion of 180 Water Street has officially leased 95% of its residential units. Located in the Financial District, the Metro Loft-developed property only has 25 vacant apartments remaining.
The 395-foot-tall, 29-story conversion brought a total of 573 residences to the market, ranging in size from studios up to three-bedroom units. Prices start at $2,690 per month for a studio, and rise up to a more substantial $7,190 f0r a three-bedroom.
Apartments all feature ten foot ceilings as well as marble kitchens. Remaining available units include high-floor residences with bridge views in the one to three bedroom range.
The 567,221 square foot building is complete with a 24/7 concierge and valet service with a host barbeque area, and a reservable kitchen/lounge area. Other facilities include a Techno-Gym equipped fitness center, yoga studio, bicycle storage, gaming area, and a lobby with 18-foot ceilings.
The property was initially under development as a joint venture between Metro Loft and Vanbarton Group, however Metro Loft bought them out of the project in 2017 to the tune of $450 million.
Cetra Ruddy is responsible for the building’s design.
Residents of the rental tower have ready access to the Wall Street and Fulton Street subway stations, offering service on the 2 and 3 lines.
