Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 2250 Clarendon Road, in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. The site is nine blocks East of Beverly Road subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains, and eleven blocks West of the Beverly Road subway station, serviced by the Q trains. Candor Clarendon Holdings LLC is behind the applications.
The 60-foot tall structure will yield 19,590 square feet of space, with 14,910 square feet dedicated to residential use. 22 apartments will be created, averaging 678 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. The building will come with 11 vehicle parking spaces, 11 bicycle parking spaces, and 500 square feet of recreational space on the ground floor. A laundry room will also be created below grade.
Diego Aguilera Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits for the existing structure were filed in January 2018. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

Please pardon me for using your space: Andrew can control development’s report. (Hello YIMBY)
That address is in East Flatbush. Victorian Flatbush is to the West of Flatbush Ave.
Prior to the development of the Victorian Flatbush neigborhoods, in 1892, a homebuilder attempted a project just east of Flatbush ave that was much larger than all of the remaining developments combined. It was called Vandeveer Park. Many of the pre war Victorians that exist on the eastern side from church all the way south to Ave. I date from this development.
The Beverley Road station on East 16th Street is spelled differently than the Beverly Road station on Nostrand Avenue (effectively East 30th Street). This is not in East Flatbush but in Flatbush. This is off East 23rd Street, two blocks from Flatbush Avenue. No one calls that East Flatbush.
Besides, Clarendon Road is Avenue C, like Cortelyou Road on the other side of Flatbush. Beverly/Beverley Road is Avenue B. Cortelyou/Clarendon is south of Beverly/Beverley. This is actually closer to the BMT/East 16th Cortelyou Road station (the two stations are one block apart, the closest between stops of any stations in the NYC subway system).
You badly botched explaining the site’s location. Why not just say it’s off East 23rd Street?
