Permits have been filed for a seven-story medical facility at 131-10 Avery Avenue in Flushing, Queens. The site is located next to Flushing Meadows Corona Park, ten blocks away from the Flushing-Main Street LIRR train station and the Main Street subway station, end of the line for 7 trains. The Avery Group will be responsible for the development.

The 80-foot tall structure will yield 64,500 square feet, with 40,400 square feet dedicated to the medical facilities, and 10,300 square feet for ground floor retail. The building will create parking for five bicycles and two cars.

This comes as an update to prior plans from the development team. In 2015, they filed permits for a marginally smaller structure, yielding just 51,900 square feet. Wilson Realty Management will be responsible for another 26,500 square foot community facility next door at 131-32 Avery Avenue.

Michael Kang Architect will be responsible for the design.

The lot is currently vacant, meaning construction can start as soon as permits are approved. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
