Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 286 Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. The site is five blocks away from the Jay Street subway station, and seven blocks from Borough Hall, serviced collectively by the A, C, F, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. Moshe Katlowitz will be responsible for the development.
The 70-foot tall structure will yield 14,025 square feet, with 10,820 square feet dedicated to residential use. Eight apartments will be created, averaging 1,350 square feet apiece, indicating condominiums. The building will include a lobby and rooftop deck.
Rise Architecture will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed for the existing structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
