Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 1901 Ocean Avenue in Midwood, Brooklyn. Located between Avenue N and Avenue O, the interior lot is four city blocks east of the Avenue M subway station, serviced by the Q train. Joshua Markovics of Royal Builders is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot tall development will yield 19,123 square feet, with 17,548 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 23 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 762 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a 41-foot long rear yard.
Oleg Ruditser of Engineering Professional SVCS is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed for the 1930’s two-story apartment building. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
