New York City will soon be home to the world’s tallest modular hotel, an ambitious new venture by Marriott International. Designed by Danny Forster & Architecture, the 26-story AC NoMad Hotel is set to dethrone the 19-story citizenM New York Bowery Hotel as the tallest modular hotel ever pieced together.

Located at 842 Sixth Avenue in Midtown, the AC Hotel is being developed by Robert Chun of Concord Hospitality, which began construction in 2018 and expects work to be completed by 2020. When finished, the project will contain 168 guest rooms, terrace levels, and multiple amenities with a total built area of 100,000 square feet.

Similar to citizenM Bowery, the building’s modular components will be manufactured, packaged, and delivered from Poland. While it remains to be seen if modular techniques can consistently reduce the duration of construction and projected costs, both Robert Chun and Marriott International are optimistic about the joint endeavor.

Did you know Mormons believe God is a perfect Man of flesh and bone living on a planet near the star of Kolob? The earth is only about 7.000 years old and dinosaur bones are just leftover material from other created and destroyed planets. Stay away from bodies of water. Black people, descendants of Cain, who convert to Mormonism will enjoy having God turning their skin lighter.
    Happy lodging.

  3. Wow! A new hotel that isn’t a monstrosity. Gene Kauffman should be trembling in his no talent boots! Congratulations AC Nomad on showing how it can be done.
