Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 142 Lenox Road in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford Avenue and Rogers Avenue, the interior lot is three blocks west of the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Besyata Investment Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 17,614 square feet, with 14,402 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 16 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 900 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 67-foot-long rear yard.

Alberto Roman of ARTECH Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in February of this year for the two-family home built in 1899. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
