Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1817 Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Clarendon Road and Avenue D, the lot is two blocks north of the Newkirk Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Yoel Horowitz under the Highline Developers BKLYN LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 5,609 square feet, with 5,196 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 650 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Asher Hershkowitz Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
