Permits have been filed for two residential buildings at 2334-2336 Dean Street in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Rockaway Avenue and Eastern Parkway, the adjacent lots are four blocks south of the Rockaway Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Frontgate Management is listed as the owner behind the applications.
2334 Dean Street will rise 45 feet tall and yield 5,890 square feet, with 5,272 square feet designated for residential space. The eight residences within will most likely be rentals due to units averaging 659 square feet apiece. The proposed 55-foot-tall development at 2336 Dean Street will yield 7,502 square feet, with 6,522 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 652 square feet. The masonry-based structures will have cellars and 47-foot-long rear yards. 2336 Dean Street will also have a penthouse.
Shawn Stiles of S&S Architectural Design is listed as the architect of record.
