Work is wrapping up on ODA‘s 12-story residential building at 561 Pacific Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Developed by Adam America Real Estate, the property contains 63 residential units that range from studios to three-bedroom layouts. The structure is located on the northern corner of Fourth Avenue and Pacific Street and is alternately addressed as 24 Fourth Avenue.

Recent photos show the last bit of scaffolding above the sidewalk coming down, further revealing the building’s gray and brown brick curtain wall and irregular grid of subtly indented windows.

YIMBY last reported on the development’s progress in April 2019, when the reinforced concrete edifice had just passed the halfway mark and the envelope had yet to begin installation. Photos today show the completed brick façade with floor-to-ceiling glass panels and railings. A blue banner highlights the address with occupancy set to begin in the spring months.

The property features a two-story landscaped central courtyard and residential amenities spanning two floors, including a fitness center, a children’s playroom, a residential lounge, and a landscaped rooftop with panoramic views of Downtown Brooklyn, Barclays Center, and the New York Harbor. The structure’s prominence over the surrounding neighborhood will give occupants ample daylight exposure and views over the adjacent rooftops.

The site is within walking distance of Barclays Center and access to the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, and R trains at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station. Access to the Long Island Railroad is also nearby at Atlantic Terminal, which sits below an indoor shopping mall to the east across Flatbush Avenue. Also nearby is a wide array of retail establishments including a Target, an Apple Store, and a Whole Foods Market, as well as a plethora of dining and entertainment options.
