Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 402 Midwood Street on the border of Prospect Lefferts Gardens and East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between New York Avenue and Miami Court, the interior lot is a short walk to the Sterling Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Frantz Alexis is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 6,266 square feet, with 5,091 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have six residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 848 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and one enclosed parking space.
Jose A. Velasquez is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
