Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 627 Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Dean Street and Bergen Street, the lot is a short walk to the Franklin Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Zohar Zauber under the 627 Franklin Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 13,330 square feet, with 9,718 square feet designated for residential space and 1,300 square feet for commercial space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 971 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.
Ralph Kowalczyk of Issac & Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
