Permits have been filed for a four-story mixed-use building at 402 St. Marks Place in St. George, Staten Island. Located between Fort Place and Victory Boulevard, the lot is within walking distance of St. George Ferry Terminal. Medina Cami under the 402 St. Marks Place, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 40-foot-tall development will yield 6,667 square feet, with 3,345 square feet designated for residential space and 979 square feet for commercial space. The building will have five residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 669 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 26-foot-long rear yard.
Michael Deruvo & Associates Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June 2020. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Fairly decent part of St. George, but the overall area still has a crime problem. A short walk to the SI ferry. Surprised that there’s no parking included. No car and you’re stuck in St. George.
Does the municipal parking garage across the street not provide public parking?
Yes but that’s not the same as included parking.
