Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 297 Wallabout Street in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Harrison Avenue and Throop Avenue inside the Broadway Triangle neighborhood, the interior lot is one block from the Lorimer Street subway station, serviced by the M and J trains. Lazar Waldman of LW Developers is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 79-foot-tall development will yield 31,760 square feet, with 21,733 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have five residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 4,346 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and five enclosed parking spaces.
Jongmin Kim Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
