Permits have been filed for a 28-story mixed-use tower at 620 West 153rd Street in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan. Located between Broadway and Riverside Drive, the through lot is also addressed as 619 West 152nd Street. Four blocks south is the West 157th Street subway station, serviced by the 1 train. Jay Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 285-foot-tall development will yield 264,649 square feet, with 210,409 square feet designated for residential space and 11,793 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 238 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 884 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 95 enclosed parking spaces.
J Frankl/C Mallea Associates is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
