I have section 8 voucher do your take section thank you
Aside from the 2 senior housing developments, this weeks housing lottery round-up is a total waste of time to anyone but to those who had the income to rent market-rate housing in these neighborhoods anyway. As a result of holdign rents to 130 AMI, the people who can most afford it may have a $100-$200 rent reduction, while an existing neighborhood resident working a public or service sector job at $15-$25 per hour is totally unable to rent in these buildings. – you would need to earn $35-$40 per hour to even begin to afford a studio these buildings!
This housing lottery is a sick joke to everyone, especially the nehgoborhood residents and NYC taxpayers 🙁
