Permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 161 Lenox Road in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. Located between Bedford and Rogers Avenues, the interior lot is three blocks from the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. IDS Management is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 47,213 square feet with 38,234 square feet designated for residential space and 8,979 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 62 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 616 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 31 enclosed parking spaces.
Syndicate Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in February 2019 for the two-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
