SJP Properties and Scotto Properties have revealed the first new renderings of Valley National Bank’s new headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey. Located along Speedwell Avenue near Cattano Avenue, the building will replace several vacant commercial properties where demolition has already begun.
Designed by Gensler, the new building will comprise approximately 120,000 square feet and house more than 660 Valley employees. To maximize the flow of natural light, the building offers floor-to-ceiling windows and operable glass walls that open to three outdoor terraces. The ground floor will also house a 14,500-square-foot retail space for a new Valley banking branch that will be open to the public.
The façade comprises a mix of warm red brick, dark metal accents, a punched window system, and a band of glass that encircles much of the front elevation.
When complete, the building is expected to achieve LEED certification.

Following the demolition and completion of site work on the property, groundbreaking will occur in the spring of 2022 with completion estimated for March 2023.
