Anchorage Digital and Life Science REIT are the first new tenants to join 470 Park Avenue South following a $15 million renovation of the Midtown commercial building. SJP Properties and PGIM Real Estate, the building’s current owners, retained Gensler and MKDA to complete the modernization project, which was unveiled in February.
Renovation work is complete on the three-building Harborside complex along the downtown Jersey City waterfront. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects and developed by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation and SJP Properties, the project involved the re-cladding and interior refurbishment of the commercial office structures, which occupy a long rectangular parcel bound by Harborside Place to the north, Hudson Street to the west, and Christopher Columbus Drive to the south. The overhaul was planned to cost around $75 million and achieve LEED Gold certification.
SJP Properties and Scotto Properties have revealed the first new renderings of Valley National Bank’s new headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey. Located along Speedwell Avenue near Cattano Avenue, the building will replace several vacant commercial properties where demolition has already begun.
The Upper West Side’s top-selling new development, 200 Amsterdam, has shared with YIMBY that a new penthouse designed by Studio Mellone will be unveiled in the coming months. As a part of the building’s Penthouse Collection, the residence sits amongst the top floors of the 52-story, 668-foot-tall, 112-unit, and 300,000-square foot condominium tower, which is located on the corner of 69th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. The Art Deco-inspired tower was designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects, and developed by SJP Properties and Mitsui Fudosan America, with interior spaces by CetraRuddy. Closings are underway, and prices for available one- to five-bedroom residences starts at $3.1 million. The Penthouse Collection includes full-floor and duplex residences beginning at $17.9 million.
SJP Properties and PGIM Real Estate have unveiled an expanded collection of amenities at 470 Park Avenue South, an 18-story office building in Midtown, Manhattan. The new amenity spaces include a rooftop terrace with views of the surrounding Midtown skyline, a ground-floor lounge that feeds into the building’s lobby, and a landscaped courtyard with ample seating, a bar, and a fire pit. The property is located between East 31st and 32nd Streets.
