Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 3051 Atlantic Avenue in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Located between Shepherd Avenue and Essex Street, the lot is two blocks from the Cleveland Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Barry Wagschal of GW Equities LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 98-foot-tall development will yield 34,153 square feet, with 32,982 square feet designated for residential space and 1,171 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 49 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 673 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and eight enclosed parking spaces.
Baobab Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
