Permits have been filed to convert a two-story structure into a four-story building at 423 Tompkins Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Hancock Street and Halsey Street, the lot is four blocks north of the Kingston-Throop Avenues subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. David Tirosh of Tirosh Holdings is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 5,802 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 725 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Infocus Design and Planning is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
