The affordable housing lottery has launched for 195 Herzl Street, a four-story residential building in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Designed by Wu (Woody) Chen of Infocus and developed by Yehuda Vaknin, the structure yields eight residences with a cellar and penthouse. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $69,429 to $156,130.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies and online tenant portal. Residences come with name-brand kitchen appliances, air conditioning, hardwood floors, and patios or balconies. Tenant are responsible for electricity, which includes stove, heat, and hot water.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,025 for incomes ranging from $69,429 to $156,130.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 6, 2023.

Aren’t tiles supposed to be staggered? I’ve never seen them installed straight.
They can have different patterns, like bricks. This is stacked bond.
