Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 1952 Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Foster Avenue and Farragut Road, the interior lot is one block south of the Newkirk Avenue-Little Haiti subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. David Weinberger is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 6,969 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 696 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 34-foot-long rear yard.
Baobab Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Another low rise building being demolished for an out of context one
Out of context like that 6 story brick apartment building 50 feet away that’s been standing for 90+ years?
that building across the street is not sandwiched in between low rise structures on either side and I can almost guarantee the new building will be built by non union labor working under unsafe conditions with the cheapest materials available.
Oh i do believe what you mentioned.using cheap materials ( like many have) and of course the city government being so obliging. All of this horrible legacy left by Bloomberg. That middle section of Brooklyn has become horribly congested, parking non existent.
