The affordable housing lottery has launched for 440 East 115th Street, a six-story residential building in East Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Sion Associates, the structure yields 15 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $51,429 to $187,330.
Units include dishwashers, air conditioning, name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes, and patios and balconies in select units. Amenities include a shared laundry room, elevator, and pet-friendly policies. Tenants responsible for household electricity including stove, hot water, and heat.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one studio with a monthly rent of $1,500 for incomes ranging from $51,429 to $138,840; one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $1,800 for incomes ranging from $61,715 to $156,130; and three two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,500 for incomes ranging from $85,715 to $187,330.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 11, 2023.
