Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 33-10 38th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 33rd and 34th Streets, the lot is near the 36th Street subway station, serviced by the M and R trains. Ravi Patel under the Welling and Main LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 16,760 square feet, with 13,788 square feet designated for residential space and 2,972 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 689 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a 36-foot-long rear yard and 10 open parking spaces.

Gerald Caliendo Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in 2018 for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
