The Gotham Organization has revealed a collection of new interior photos of The Suffolk, a 30-story mixed-use tower on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Located at 55 Suffolk Street, the building is designed by Dattner Architects with JG Neukomm Architecture and contains a mix of 378 rental units, a large suite of amenity spaces, a 40,000-square-foot community facility for the Chinese-American Planning Council, a 4,000-square-foot cultural heritage center for Beth Hamedrash Hagodol, and 18,000 square feet of retail space.

The new renderings depict two views of a micro-studio unit and a full-size studio apartment.

The micro-units, positioned on three dedicated floors, are being marketed as Abode by Gotham and measure between 315 and 350 square feet. Each micro-unit will feature a built-in murphy bed, a sofa, and storage. Micro-unit residents will have access to a dedicated resident lounge, chef’s kitchen, storage space, and communal laundry facilities. They can also subscribe to an all-access club membership for the remaining amenities provided in the building.

Additional standard-sized floor plans range from one to three bedrooms. This collection of apartments will feature chrome appliances, a dishwasher, a washer-dryer, and quartz countertops in the kitchens and bathrooms.

Outdoor amenity spaces include a 30th-floor rooftop pool and a terrace with lounge seating, fire pits, and barbecues.

Inside the property, a full-floor amenity suite offers coworking spaces and conference rooms, communal lounges, a chef’s kitchen, and fitness center with a dedicated yoga studio. Additional services offered include a 24-hour staffed lobby, a personal concierge, a package room, general storage, and a bike room.

“The Suffolk ushers in a new standard of high-end living to the Lower East Side,” said Bryan Kelly, president of development at Gotham Organization. “The amenity spaces at The Suffolk have taken a cue from the hospitality industry and are designed to provide a resident experience that seamlessly blends luxury amenities with community programming for our residents.”

Gotham has engaged The Marketing Directors as their exclusive leasing agent with residences available for immediate occupancy. Studios at The Suffolk begin at $3,425 per month.
