This is not affordable housing if your Net income has to be over $100,000. Affordable housing has become a joke for the lower & middle class in NYC.
Agree this is absurd but let’s not pretend families making 100-150k a year have a lot of options in Manhattan. They can’t afford much either
A Family needs at least a 2 bedroom and they built one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,793 for incomes ranging from $130,046 to $187,330.
You’re claiming that isn’t high income?
NOT AFFORDABLE HOUSING @ ALL
Affordable housing?!
What a joke.
This is INCOME LINKED HOUSING for high income people.
The millionaire developer used the dead 421A NYS taxpayer subsidy to build At 130 percent of the AMI, eight studios with a monthly rent of $2,960 for incomes ranging from $101,486 to $138,840; seven one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,168 for incomes ranging from $108,618 to $156,130; and one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,793 for incomes ranging from $130,046 to $187,330.
This is quite silly for sure but 100k a year for a family isn’t high income in manhattan. Can’t rent anything proper for that money really
