Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 324 West 15th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. Located between Eighth Avenue and Ninth Avenue, the lot is near the 14th Street subway station, served by the A, C, and E trains. Robert Saffayeh under the 324 West 15th Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 29,080 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 20 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,454 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and six enclosed parking spaces.
Alexander Zhitnik of Z Architecture PLLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed last month for the four-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
