Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a three-story residential building at 739 Wyona Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Hegeman Avenue and Linden Boulevard, the lot is near the Van Siclen Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, and 4 trains. Aron Harfenes is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 25-foot-tall development will yield 4,084 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 510 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and 28-foot-long rear yard.
Leandro Nils Dickson Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the permit calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
