Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 480 St. John’s Place in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Classon Avenue and Washington Avenue, the lot is near the Eastern Parkway-Brooklyn Museum subway station, serviced by the 2, 3, and 4 trains. Yitzi Gantz of Hig Associates is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 24,225 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 34 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 712 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 34-foot-long rear yard.

Baobab Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
