Permits have been filed to horizontally expand a three-story residential building at 75 Calyer Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between West Street and Franklin Street, the lot is closest to the Nassau Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Yossel Lichtman of Rogers Builders & Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 34-foot-tall development will yield 4,996 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 713 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Amr Ouda is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
