National real estate investment firm The Feil Organization has announced that tequila manufacturer Casa Komos Brand Group has signed a ten-year lease agreement at 853 Broadway, a 21-story office tower in Union Square, Manhattan. The company will occupy 10,268 square feet across the entire second floor and a portion of the ninth floor of the structure, which is located at the corner of Broadway and 14th Street, directly across from Union Square Park.
853 Broadway was originally built in 1926 and offers 157,000 square feet in total. It is made up of a concrete-enforced steel structure, and has a brick masonry exterior. The building is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to modernize its facilities. Planned upgrades include a revamped lobby and upgrades to elevators and bathrooms.
Casa Komos was represented by a team from CBRE for the deal, and The Feil Organization’s in-house team facilitated the lease agreement.
